About Jake
My name is Jake Przespo (the ‘z’ is silent). I am a part-time freelancer who designs web interfaces and crafts them into usable and beautiful websites. I have a passion for the web and strongly believe in solving problems through design. I’ve been working in the industry for around five years and love every minute of it. This Site
This site serves as my portfolio, blog, and a way for people to seek out my services. Have a project that you want to start? Get in touch.
Wordpress serves as the main backbone for this site with Pods for my portfolio section. I am serving Museo Sans and Calluna, by the great Jos Buivenga, from TypeKit. The beautiful icons used are from the Pictos set by Drew Wilson. Lastly, all of this is being hosted by This*. They have been great.
My Process
-
1
Research
When starting a new project, it is important to research the competition. It allows me to create a compelling website that is unique and ultimately a better experience for users.
-
2
Wireframe
Design is not only about aesthetics. It is important to layout the structure of a website to provide a great experience to users. It also sets consistency throughout the site.
-
3
Build
Once the wireframes are finished, the next step is to bring them to life with design mockups and semantic code that follows today’s web standards. All of that wrapped nicely inside of a content management system.

Deliver
All the bugs are squashed and the site is ready to be launched. There will always be times when you have questions or need some work done. We’ll be available to help you along the way.
