Today I launched another one of my little side projects in my playground area, my photoblog. I wanted it to be simple, but also wanted to use it as an excuse to learn a few new things at the same time. All-in-all it has been a good learning experience.

Behind The Scenes

Most of my interests and background have been in web design. I wanted to use this project as an excuse to sharpen up on my backend skills. I built my own little CMS for it along with a little admin section. I ended up learning a ton more about PHP and played around with the .htaccess file a bit.

I’ll be posting most of my photos to my Flickr still, but will use my new photoblog as a way to showcase my favorite shots as I take them. Check it out and let me know what you guys think.
